Just a few episodes ago, we were introduced to this seasons Big Bad, Alexei Volkoff (played by the former Bond, Timothy Dalton). His big reveal was saved for the end of the episode, so we weren’t given a lot of time to get to know him for who he really is. Needless to say, whatever your expectations were, Monday’s episode most likely shattered them.

The show is called Chuck, but for the first half of this episode, it should have been called Sarah. It was totally her show last night. Chuck only showed up briefly in the opening having a bizarre, but hilarious, dream involving Sarah and Lester. It was great hearing the two of them using the shows term of “flashing” so sexually.

Firstly, my apologies for being a bit late on this review. I felt I needed to watch this one twice due to all the personal relationships being re-established in this episode.
I really enjoyed the opening scene with Merle talking about his war experiences. We knew as the audience that he had nobody to converse with and at times I almost felt like he was talking to the Cameraman but his dialogue went between his ramblings …
Chuck. It’s perhaps one of my favorite shows to tune in to. It skillfully meshes comedy, action and drama into a wonderful hour of television. I can think of only a handful of times in the shows 4 seasons where an episode was weak. This past Monday’s episode was not one of the weaker ones.
